From Jan. 22- Feb. 6 our Tanzania mission team, Michael Butte, Phil & Barb Euler and Tom & Linda Gapp are visiting schools, scholarship recipients, churches and organizations through our partners, the Northern Diocese of Tanzania. Read a quick update from them below on their Bible distribution!

The confirmation students wanted the Bible. The mission team handed out seventy Bibles and each student wrote their name on the book plate.

Phil Euler gave a talk to the students about the Word of God using his favorite verses, John 1:1-3. When Phil reads his Bible, he dates the reading. He instructed the confirmation students to use their Bibles as well!

After the Bible presentation, we walked towards the women’s choir. A man came forward and asked Pastor Nixon, the Mudio pastor, for a Bible. This man had been a Muslim and converted to Christianity this past year. He is now a baptized member of Mudio Lutheran Parish. As he was given a Bible, a big smile was on his face. He was so happy.
