It wasn’t that long ago when our graduates were presented for Holy Baptism. Together, the body of Christ promised to shape their faith in meaningful ways. Now they stand before us as adults ready to take what they have learned in faith and in life out into the world! We give thanks for each of them and for the many ways in which they have blessed Sheridan Lutheran Church. Through their participation in Sunday & Wednesday Faith Formation, Vacation Bible School, Confirmation and Youth Group, as well as our music and drama ministries, they shared their gifts with their peers, made a difference in our community and enriched our worship! Their leadership and participation on church council, praise team, youth mission trips and much more shaped Sheridan into a more welcoming and vibrant faith community.
Graduates will be recognized on Sat., June 1 during 5:30pm worship.
We rejoice with our graduates as they complete their high school education. We, your church family, share pride in your accomplishment and are excited to continue walking with you as you continue your journey in faith and life.
Please continue to pray for our graduates:

A prayer for Graduates
Gracious God, you bless each of us abundantly. We give you thanks especially for the completion of another school year and for the milestones that these graduates have reached. With joy, we have watched them grow into the individuals that You have has prepared them to be and we are grateful for the many ways they have blessed our faith community. As they begin new phases of their lives, please continue to bless and guide these graduates. May they know your love and feel a sense of your peace in all they have experienced and the many moments yet to come. Strengthen them with the Holy Spirit, and daily increase in them your gifts of grace. Bless also the parents, families and friends of these students who have raised these children and nourished them in the Christian faith; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
