Assistant Director of Child Development Center
Sheridan Child Development Center (SCDC) is searching for an Assistant Director to help lead our licensed daycare and pre‐school programs. SCDC provides families with care for their children from 6 weeks old through school aged with a staff of 35 employees. The Assistant Director will partner closely with the Director of the center to help oversee all operations of the organization including supervision of employees, center safety, accounting, compliance with regulations, scheduling, etc. The role will form strong relationships with families and proactively communicate with them to share information and be quick to respond to questions. Our preferred candidate has:
- An Associate’s Degree in early childhood education or similar field
- Experience as an Assistant Director or supervisory experience at an established daycare center
- Is a model of walking and leading in the Christian faith

Sheridan Lutheran’s Nursery is seeking caring adults (18 years old and over) to work in the nursery on rotating Sundays, 9:30am-noon. There are also occasional hours available on Wednesdays, 6:15-8pm, September-April, and on Saturday mornings. For more information about this paid position, please contact Beth Jessen.

SCDC Teacher Assistants
Sheridan Child Development Center (SCDC) is looking for part-time teacher assistants (15 hrs/week) and part-time substitute teachers to work with toddlers through Pre-K during the summer.
This position provides great experience for someone interested in or currently pursuing an Early Childhood Education degree. Candidate must:
Be creative and patient
Love working and playing with children
Have effective communication skills
Be available Monday through Friday, 1-6pm
Preference given to high school graduates
