ongratulations on your upcoming wedding! This is an exciting time for you! Sheridan Lutheran Church would be delighted to assist you in preparation for one of the most important days of your life! May God bless and guide you as you prepare for your marriage.
Sheridan believes that marriage is a lifelong relationship based on the promise of faithfulness. We believe that marriage should be rooted in the steadfast love of God and that God’s faithfulness and self-giving love are the models of the relationship in a marriage. We believe that God, along with the church, desires that marriage be characterized by faithfulness, joy, love, growth and fulfillment.
We are pleased that you have chosen Sheridan Lutheran Church as the Christian setting for this special event in your lives. Our pastors and staff will assist you in planning your wedding and making it a most memorable day for you. We want to help you make your wedding a true expression of your faith in God and your love for each other.

Due to the number of requests, we can only schedule weddings at Sheridan for those who are church members, this includes checking for available dates.
If you would like to be married at Sheridan Lutheran Church, and are not currently a member, please ensure that you have time to go through our New Member process and join the church in time to schedule your wedding. More information on joining Sheridan can be found on our New Members page.
Scheduling Your Wedding
The date and time for your wedding should be scheduled at least six months prior to your desired wedding date. A date and time for your wedding will be guaranteed to you only after the church has received a $150 (non-refundable) deposit. This will avoid conflicts with the church’s calendar and also allow time for pre-marriage counseling sessions with the pastor. Please contact the church office to make these arrangements.
To help with the flow from the wedding to the 5:30pm worship service, Saturday weddings should begin no later than 3:30pm.
