At Sheridan Lutheran Church, we want to equip all of God’s people to grow in understanding of God’s grace and love.

Our faith formation ministries are intentional activities in which we engage one another in learning and understanding of Biblical truths and develop a language of faith that helps us to shape and equip new generations.

Through faith formation, we acquire knowledge, wisdom, attitudes, beliefs, skills, and abilities to think, feel and act in ways that reflect our desire to follow Christ.

“My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ.”
Colossians 2:2

Safeguarding God's Children Training

Sheridan's leadership feels strongly that each caring adult who works with Sheridan's young people be trained to identify and prevent child sexual abuse. This training program is based on the philosophy that if every adult can protect just one child, they will forever change one life and if we can all change one life, together we can make a difference in this generation of children.
