S

heridan’s Children’s Ministry loves having new friends join us throughout the school year on Sunday morning or Wednesday evenings.

We want your first experience to be awesome, so when you arrive on Sunday, stop by the purple wall just beyond the Family Life Center and check in at the Children’s Ministry Welcome Center. There, a volunteer will be able to help you:

  • register your child
  • provide resources about our children’s programming
  • give you directions on where to bring your child
  • sign up to volunteer

If you’re joining us for the first time on Wednesday, stop by the Welcome Center to learn where to bring your child for Wednesdays @ the Well classes.

Register your child for Children’s Ministry programs

We ask parents to register for each education opportunity they plan to participate. You can pre-register below before your first visit.

Children in Worship

All children are welcome in worship! To the parents of young children, may we suggest…relax! God put the wiggle in children; don’t feel you have to suppress it in God’s house. See all the ways we include and support children during worship.

Children's Music

Music is a part of each aspect of children’s education at Sheridan. From opening gatherings on Sunday mornings to specialized choirs such as WAM on Wednesday nights, children focus on how to praise God through voice, movement and instruments. Music programming is offered September-May for toddlers through grade 5 and children may join in any time throughout the year.

Faith Stepping Stones

We celebrate faith milestones in each child’s life beginning with Baptism and going through High School graduation. These Faith Stepping Stones provide a way for Sheridan to partner with parents, step-parents and grandparents in bringing children up in the Christian faith.
