Sheridan Lutheran Church has a wide variety of ways to make a difference. To see how you can help:

Volunteer Inside Sheridan

For some ministries, we use iVolunteer, an online volunteer scheduler, to give you the opportunity to sign up for serving when it is convenient for you. If you have questions about the specific ministries, please contact the church office at 402-423-4769, via email at info@sheridanlutheran.org or you are more than welcome to stop by the church office.

Volunteer Sign Up

We ask our Sheridan members and friends to complete a Ministry Opportunity Sheet indicating the areas of ministry they feel called to serve. The reason we ask this to be done yearly is because sometimes interests change or our availability changes, and we want to be up to date on those. This Ministry Opportunity Sheet is often completed in conjunction with Stewardship as we talk about time, talents and treasures, but it may be completed at any time. Complete your Ministry Opportunity Sheet online.

Volunteer Outside Sheridan

There are many ways to participate and volunteer outside the walls of Sheridan. Here are a few:

  • We use iVolunteer, an online volunteer scheduler, to sign up for serving at some of our Mission Partners. If you have questions please contact Genny Straube via email at g.straube@sheridanlutheran.org or stop by the church office.

If you have any questions or want to be a Scripture reader, please contact Brenda CarpenterĀ b.carpenter@sheridanlutheran.org.
