Clinic with a Heart, a faith-based organization, serves the uninsured and under-insured in Lincoln with hospitality, dignity and grace. As an urgent care clinic, they strive to serve as a gateway to other human service agencies around the community and help their patients find a permanent healthcare provider.

Each clinic night is sponsored by a mission team and since 2008, Sheridan has served as a sponsor. The mission teams provide the coordination of services and funding, and include seven different churches, a temple, two hospitals and one educational institution.

In 2016, an average of 40 volunteers served at Clinic with a Heart every month – which adds up to over 1,440 hours of service time last year!

“Sheridan provides hundreds of healthcare visits to people through Clinic With a Heart every year. These visits provide school physicals, immunizations, optometry, dentistry, chiropractics, x-rays and more,” said Pastor Rhonda. “This healthcare outreach improves the quality of life for many people who are vulnerable in our community of Lincoln.”

Already in 2017, Sheridan has been able to provide the care for 194 patients visits and volunteers donated 867 hours of service on the day we sponsor, the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
