Tanzanian Bible Distribution

Today was a major highlight. Thanks to the generosity of Sheridan’s Wednesdays @ the Well community and Confirmation classes, we were able to distribute 185 Bibles to the Confirmation students at Karansi Lutheran Church.
Pastor Joshua called all the students forward and commissioned them. The church leaders from Karansi, the Gapps and myself distributed the Bibles and shook every student’s hand.
During the service there were so many faces of wonder and thankfulness-on both the students and this of is distributing Bibles.
A precious part of the day was when everyone was leaving church and school and I saw a group of children together. They were thumbing through their Bibles and looking up passages together.
Thank you to all who contributed and supported this endeavor. What a blessing it is to share God’s word with one another.
