Connections Cafe’: more than just coffee!

Did you know that when you purchase a specialty drink from Connections Cafe you give $.50 to Sheridan Missions & Outreach?
Since the Cafe’ opened in 2010, sales from specialty drinks have yielded more than $7,000. That’s some generous coffee and smoothies!

Under the guidance of our Sheridan Church Council, these dollars will be used to benefit homeless children and their families in the Lincoln area. Through our Connections Cafe’, we have granted funds to the Lincoln Public Schools Homeless Outreach Program. In the past three years, this LPS program has helped more than 800 families secure safe, quality and affordable housing. In January, through our donations, we helped provide funding for a mom and her high school daughter to secure good housing. Both mom and daughter are enrolled at cosmetology school, and are learning a trade that will provide income for their future.
