#GivingTuesday 2013

You may know about Black Friday and Cyber Monday…but now there’s #GivingTuesday. This initiative kicks off the giving season the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. This year’s #GivingTuesday is Dec. 3.
Sheridan is participating in #GivingTuesday with its annual alternative Christmas giving campaign. Over the years, Sheridan members have given generously to various ministry partnerships.
Internationally, we have built schools in Tanzania, homes in El Salvador and provided optometry clinics in Haiti. Locally, we provide health care, food and clothing, education and mentoring opportunities. We experience the magnificence of God as we give. It’s as though Jesus says to us, “Thank you for remembering my birthday!” And how magnificent is that?
You may participate by placing your “above and beyond” year-end gift in the special “Magnificent Gifts” envelopes or by giving online at sheridanlutheran.org/online-giving.
