God Sighting: Josh Fullerton Named Officer of the Year

Being a police officer in 2020 was hard, and in many ways, thankless. It is with a great deal of pride that our Sheridan family of faith congratulates Josh Fullerton, who was named Officer of the Year by the Lincoln Police Department! Josh has been a police officer with LPD since 2010 and with the canine unit since 2014.

“If I can leave this world a little better than I found it,
then I have served well.”

For Josh, being a police officer is very much tied to his faith. “It is my belief that all citizens that I come in contact with deserve the same compassionate, truthful, and equal treatment that Jesus gave. If I can leave this world a little better than I found it, then I have served well.”

Congratulations, Josh, for your service to our community and for your servant heart! You, and all Lincoln’s first responders, remain in our prayers.
