Habitat & Thrivent Trip to Oregon

July 23-29, 2023; Medford, OR

Join the team to aid in disaster recovery from the 2020 Almeda Wildfire near Medford, OR. This week-long trip is a great way to make an impact with the Rogue Valley Habitat for Humanity in their ongoing work.

Trip Cost

$1,030 + airfare or travel expenses. Thrivent Financial subsidizes $450 for Thrivent Benefit members.

Team members may extend their trip at their own expense but are asked to arrive in Medford, OR by 5pm on Sunday, July 23 and to depart no earlier than Saturday, July 29.

  • Noisy Offering & Connections Cafe Tips – During December, the Noisy Offering and Connections Cafe Tips will be divided between Barnabas Community and Sheridan’s Hunger Ministries Fund, which provides for community foodpacking events, Matt Talbot ministry and other hunger related needs in our community.
  • Donation Bins – The Lutheran Food Pantry is housed at St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church and is supported by Lutheran churches throughout Lincoln and is accessible to anyone in need. In December, we will support this ministry. A list of items needed is available at the donation bins, which you can find at doors 1, 2 and 4.
