Haiti VBS – 2016 Missions Annual Report
Through your generous December Magnificent Gifts and other giving, Sheridan is able to support a Vacation Bible School for 250 children and caring Haitian adults in partnership with the Haitian Timoun Foundation. There is a specialized camp for residents of Wings of Hope, a home for disabled youth and adults. Six Haitian college students will serve as our teachers and translators. When the children attend camp, have good behavior and attendance, each of their families will receive a 30 lb. bag of rice. This bag of rice will feed a family of 5-8 people for about three months.
