Halloween 2018 at Wednesdays @ the Well
Not a Trunk or Treat Event
Because Halloween falls on a Wednesday this year, Sheridan will be doing something a bit different than the traditional Trunk or Treat activities that have become hugely popular in our faith community. By all means dress up in full costume and come to church first. We will still be offering the hotdog Wednesdays @ the Well supper from 5-6 followed by a brief fun and festive worship service.
Halloween Blessing Time
But instead of heading to the parking lot to Trunk or Treat we will be closing the worship time with a Trick or Treat blessing, sending our families out to their neighborhoods and family activities that are a normal part of Halloween in Lincoln. As families are blessed leaving worship they will be treated by Confirmation Small Groups in the Great Hall passing out candy treats to younger kids and sending them on their way to go be a light in the world.
