He Has Risen Indeed

Dear Sisters in Christ,
I am sitting in the kitchen by my window. I look out at this beautiful spring day. The grass is greening, leaves are forming on the tree branches and flowers are blooming in the garden. The new life that nature gives each spring, reminds us this Easter season of the new life given to us from God’s Son and born anew each day. Jesus died and suffered on a cross for our sins. How blessed we are.

1 John 4:10 says, “This is love; not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” It is my hope for each one of you that these words will bring you hope and comfort. He is arisen. He is arisen indeed.

We will suffer from uncertainties in this life, but as children of God we can always depend on the love of our Father. In Him we will find joy even in our sorrow. He gives some measure of happiness and well-being, no matter the circumstances that surround us. He loves us so much that he sent his Son to take on our pain, sorrow and suffering.

Thanks and praise to our God. And, thank God for each one of you, dear sisters.
