The results for the vote on June 22, 2014 was 246 to 1 in favor of extending the call for Pastor Michelle Oetken to serve as Associate Pastor at Sheridan Lutheran.

Pastor Michelle will be introduced at the VBS Sing Along. Following the VBS Sing Along, Pastor Michelle will talk about her call to ministry at Sheridan, share her life story and answer questions. Please plan to attend.

Special Congregational Meeting

Sun., June 22; noon; Worship Center

The Congregation Council has received the unanimous recommendation of the Call Committee and has recommended that Pastor Michelle Oetken be called as an Associate Pastor of Sheridan Lutheran Church. Join us for a special meeting of the congregation for the purpose of voting on the Council’s recommendation.
According to our Church Constitution, “Authority to call a pastor shall be in this congregation by at least a ⅔ majority ballot vote of members present and voting at a meeting legally called for that purpose. Voting members are confirmed members. Such confirmed members shall have communed and made a contribution of record during the current or preceding year. Voting by proxy or by absentee ballot shall not be permitted.” Please call the church office if you have questions.
