Faith Stepping Stones
Faith Stepping Stones are important components of our Lutheran beliefs, grounded in the Bible and nurturing faith in everyday life. We discover God’s presence in seemingly ordinary happenings.
All workshops through grade 5 are for parents and children together include a take home keepsake craft as well as interactive Prayer Stations related to the topic for parents and children to do together.
Each Faith Stepping Stone for children will offer an at-home option for families. If your child missed a workshop in a previous year, they are welcome to participate during this year.
Bible Memory Work
To make the connection at home, each elementary student involved in Sunday School is given the opportunity for memory work that coordinates with that year’s Faith Stepping Stone.
Never forget these commands that I am giving you today. Teach them to your children. Repeat them when you are at home and when you are away, when you are resting and when you are working…Write them on the doorpost of your houses and on your gates.”
