Sheridan’s Women’s Ministries Team is dedicated to nurturing each woman’s relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ through spiritual growth, service and fellowship. The goal is to encourage women to become involved in faith formation that allows women to understand their calling to know Jesus, love God and others, share your faith with family and friends and care for each other.
Sheridan’s women’s activities are designed to Encourage the hearts and minds of women to know, love and serve God.

Heaven: When Faith Becomes Sight
Thurs., Sept. 10-Oct. 22; 9:30-10:30am; Zoom
This study by Jennifer Rothschild explores the subject of Heaven from a purely biblical perspective, setting aside cultural myths, media depictions, and legends. It addresses questions such as: What is Heaven? Who goes there? What will eternity be like? Participants will also discover how an eternal perspective can transform the way we navigate suffering, uncertainty, and daily life.
The study includes seven video teaching sessions to watch independently and six weeks of personal daily Bible study. Books are available in OneSent.
Moms of Grace: Moms Group
2nd & 4th Tuesdays; Room 646; 7:00pm-8:00pm
Group for Moms of children in all stages. Participants are welcome to attend any or all of the following dates permitting personal schedules.

Grace Groups
In our hectic modern-day world, Grace Groups can offer a pause that refreshes through scripture reading, prayer, meditation, and inspirational reading. Grace Groups are made up of four people that commit to meet at least twice a month for one year, to intentionally build relationships and discipleship. Grace Groups offer time and space to grow in grace, loving and sharing friendships in Christ. New Grace Groups can form at any time. Gather up a friend or two and join a group—we’ll help with study resources and get you started. If you are feeling called to take part in this small group ministry, contact Julie Hestermann.

- The 3-MINUTE RETREAT is available by computer, email, or smart phone. sponsored by the Loyola Press, a Jesuit ministry. 3-Minute Retreats invite you to take a short prayer break right at your computer. Spend some quiet time reflecting on a Scripture passage. Knowing that not everyone prays at the same pace, you have control over the pace of the retreat. After each screen, a Continue button will appear. Click it when you are ready to move on. If you are new to online prayer, the basic timing of the screens will guide you through the experience.
