Sheridan’s Youth Ministry seeks to serve all students in grades 9-12 and their families. This ministry offers opportunities such as weekly youth group, Bible studies, mission trips, service projects, worship and more!
We are a ministry that believes in building relationships with youth and their families. We partner with parent and adult volunteers to provide safe, fun and faith-filled programs and events.
Our main goal of the ministry is to provide an outlet for students to feel safe in exploring their faith in Jesus Christ. Our hope is for all youth to know that they are cared for and loved by Jesus. We want them to experience Jesus in a way that will allow their faith to grow throughout their life. We focus on relationships and encourage continued relationship building throughout the week in the student’s daily life and believe that being part of a faith community is crucial to faith development.
Wednesdays @ the Well Worship in person from 6-6:30pm
High School Youth Group meets in the Great Room from 6:30-7:30pm
1st Tuesdays; 2:30-4:30pm
All high school youth are invited to join Ian at a nearby park. Bring your coffee shop drink of choice and enjoy fellowship as a church family. Youth are welcome to come and go as they are able. Check the Sheridan Youth Instagram for each month’s location.
Small groups meet monthly and are a place where youth are welcomed, known, and loved. Each group gathers around a different theme and is led by caring adults.
We gather regularly for fellowship activities including lock-ins, weekend retreats at Camp Carol Joy Holling, pool parties, the annual Progressive Dinner and more! Sheridan’s High School Youth also take part in annual church events including FaithFest, Trunk or Treat, Advent Event and much more! We also engage service projects throughout the year including the annual Soup-tacular, Easter Breakfast and others.
Each summer, our students along with caring adult leaders, embark on a week-long experience which includes service-learning, cultural immersion, worship, Bible study and fellowship. Recently, we’ve traveled to Kansas City, Nashville, Houston and San Fransisco. This immersive experience is available for youth currently in grades 8-12.
