At Sheridan Lutheran Church's Children & Youth Ministries, we believe everyone is loved by God and has a special purpose. We have fun activities and programs designed to help you learn about Jesus, discover your gifts, and become the best version of yourself – all while building strong friendships along the way! Sheridan Youth Ministries are a place to belong and discover who we are.

At Sheridan, youth will find a faith community where they are loved and encouraged as children of God and inspired to be a blessing to others.

Family Ministry

Ministry:

In addition to our Faith Formation Ministries which focus on specific age groups, Sheridan offers fellowship events tailored to families of all ages throughout the year.

Faith Stepping Stones

Faith Stepping Stones are special markers, grounded in the Bible and nurturing faith in everyday life. We discover God’s presence in seemingly ordinary happenings. Some of these markers will have recognition at the altar.

Children’s Christmas Programs

Ministry:

Each Advent, children ages 3 years old (by July 31 preceding the Christmas programs) through grade 5 are invited to share their gifts of music and storytelling.

Vacation Bible School

A week filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences that will help faith flow into real life through crafts, storytelling, games and more. This will be the best week of the summer!

*At Sheridan, volunteers age 16+ interested in helping with our children, confirmation and youth ministries must complete Safe Gatherings training and a background check prior to the start of their volunteer experience.
