WAM Camp 2015 Recap

Reflections from Student Helper, Alison Riddle

I spent part of this week in Room 316 helping with WAM camp. It was a wonderful experience, helping the kids to praise God by making music, which helped me grow in my faith.

I really felt God’s presence this week when the kids were working together and doing their best to make music and worship God.

Miss Julie taught the kids that, even though we sing, read, and listen in worship, it’s truly all about focusing on God. The kids also learned that it is good to worship together. We really can’t mess up when we pray out loud, because God knows what we mean, and He helps us say the right thing.

I really enjoyed working with the kids, Miss Julie, Miss Linda and Miss Rose. I think the kids had a good time, too, playing the instruments, singing, and learning about God.
